Hip, Knee and ankle Pain

Knee and ankle pain can be a contributor to lower back pain and it can also be caused by problems in the lower back and pelvis. Sometimes a traumatic injury such as an ankle sprain, compensation, for example, from problems with the opposite hip or knee, or sporting activities can be some of the many causes of knee and ankle pain.

Sometimes the cause of the pain isn’t only related to the area of complaint. It may be referred from another part of the body.

Your chiropractor will spend time listening to you and will go through a thorough assessment to investigate the root cause of your symptoms, that will include taking a medical history, a physical exam including orthopaedic and neurological testing, and may include referring you for imaging if they think that that is necessary. They will then be able to provide you with a plan of care that is specific to you and tailored to your needs.
